BEFORE YOU PLAY

Please stay at home if you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days or have even mild flue like symptoms. If you are in a high risk health category, please consider whether you should be administering or playing tennis at any time during this period. Please do not take any unnecessary risks.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

Keep 1.5 metres away from other people and no more than 1 person per 4m² while attending/taking part in a tennis activity. Remember no handshaking or high fives. Try tapping racquets instead!

ONE PERSON PER 4 SQM.

MANTAIN A 1.5M DISTANCE.

BEHAVIOUR

To protect against infection you should:

  • Sanitise your hands before and after play. Please bring your own hand sanitiser

  • Avoid touching your face while playing

  • Not share water bottles and bring your own water bottle, already full (taps will not be in use)

  • Cover your coughs and sneezes with your elbow 

  • Refrain from spitting

  • Be aware of what surfaces you have touched and clean them when you are finished

  • There should be no off court gatherings, Get in, Play and Get out!

RISK WARNING

You acknowledge that by using Glenvale TC’s tennis courts and playing tennis you will be exposed to certain risks, including the risk of physical injury. You may also be exposed to the possibility of contracting an illness, including without limitation the Covid-19 virus. The Covid-19 virus can spread very quickly and result in very serious medical complications in some people. You agree that the use of Glenvale TC tennis courts is entirely at your own risk. You have read and understood this risk warning and voluntarily accept and assume the inherent risks in use of tennis courts and playing tennis.
